The Junos are just around the corner, with organizers putting the finishing touches in place at the MTS Centre, and stars beginning to touch down in Winnipeg. Here's our guide to Canada’s biggest music awards show.
When: The Junos are being held on Sunday, March 30. CTV will be airing the show starting at 9 p.m. ET. / 8 p.m. CT.
Where: This year's show is being held at Winnipeg's MTS Centre, home of the Winnipeg Jets.
How to watch: As of Friday morning, there were still tickets available to purchase. Tickets can be bought on . Fans outside of Winnipeg can catch the show by tuning into CTV. Bell subscribers can watch the Junos live online through.
Who's hosting: Singer-songwriter Serena Ryder, rapper Classified and country artist Johnny Reid are sharing hosting duties this year.
Who will be there: This year's show will draw a mix of big name stars and independent artists. Among the artists slated to attend are Sarah McLachlan, Shad, Kardinal Offishall, A Tribe Called Red and OneRepublic. Also in the mix will be astronaut Chris Hadfield and members of the Canadian women's gold-medal winning curling team.
Who's performing: Both Canadian and international stars will be hitting the Junos stage this Sunday, with McLachlan, Ryder, Robin Thicke, OneRepublic, Tegan and Sara and Dean Brody all scheduled to perform.
There will also be a world premiere "exclusive taped performance" by Arcade Fire, and an all-star tribute to Bachman-Turner Overdrive featuring The Sheepdogs, Matt Mays, Tim Hicks and Travis Good.
All four members of Bachman-Turner Overdrive are expected to be at the awards show, and will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame during the ceremony. Earlier this week, Randy Bachman on his past Juno wins, as well as some of the infighting and conflicts BTO faced in the past.
