Hockey Canada announced its coaching staff for the women's national team on Wednesday.
Troy Ryan, who recently agreed to a four-year contract extension, remains at the helm. The extension, signed in August, makes him the longest-tenured head coach of a national women's team.
Ryan, 50, took over from Perry Pearn midway through the 2019-2020 season and has since led the team to consecutive world titles and an Olympic gold medal in February.
He will be joined by returning assistants Kori Cheverie, Caroline Ouellette, Doug Derraugh and goaltending coach Brad Kirkwood.
Before joining the senior team, Cheverie had previously won gold as an assistant with the women's under-18 team in 2019. For Ouellette, it is her third stint as an assistant for the team having also won bronze at the 2019 worlds.
It is Derraugh's fifth stint with team. He also helped lead Canada to gold at the 2012 world championships. Kirkwood has been a goaltending consultant for the national team since 2015.
